lyrics

I'm not sure where or when,
but I know I'm going.
I'm so bored of 'it',
and it's just started growing.
I'm done simulating life,
but I can't go outside.
I still see the door,
but I'm losing sight.

Yet I get ideas,
they come and go.
They free me from fear,
but they don't make me slow.
They bring me back to life,
but there I am alone.
I see a dark machine,
with everyone in it's hold.

So I found this plant,
and it brought us peace.
But I've seen it's 'peace',
spread like a disease,
amongst the sleeping,
as they slept.
It helped them to see,
what the sleeping were taught to forget.

They've met the machine,
and they all said yes.
They once knew life,
but they accepted death.
It got us once,
but it won't get us again.
We're on our way,
me and my dead friends.

Yes we are awake,
yes we are awake,
yes we are awake,
we are all awake.
